Garrette and I occasionally bet on things. I usually win. We write down the bet and wager (usually between 25 cents and $5) on a Post-it, and hang it inside one of the cabinets at work. Yesterday, I found bet that I had completely forgotten about:

Have you heard anything about Pamela Anderson being pregnant? I’m totally going to win. The only time Garrette won was when she bet last summer that my next boyfriend would be from out of town. I bought her lunch for that. What can I say? Love is a losing game.
