I have to give all credit to my roommate Kim Gardner for introducing me to the newest addition to my diet - the incredibly delicious healthy smoothie.
I never thought I'd be one to enjoy a liquid meal (I really like to chew my food) but this is so yummy and surprisingly filling. And if I'm blogging about my food, then it either means it's a great recipe or my life has taken a seriously sad turn.

Put in blender:
- 2 handfuls of spinach
- 1 banana
- 3 scoops of frozen fruit (I like strawberries, blueberries, and some sort of mixed fruit)
- 2 spoonfuls of Cabot Greek Yogurt - Vanilla Flavor (KEY ingredient. Brand matters.)
- a little bit of water (you don't need ice if you use frozen fruit)
Blend.
Enjoy.
And viola! The yogurt makes it taste like bubblegum - the kind you want to eat - and the spinach is so unrecognizable. You will be totally proud of yourself for sneaking spinach into your meal. Also try squeezing in some lime juice or orange juice for a little extra kick.
Tip: rinse your blender asap. If you let it sit, the ground spinach is really hard to clean.

p.s. that is my mother's Magic Bullet.
